&©|160;Overview Dioctyl terephthalate,&©|160;colorless or slightly yellowish oily liquid. Almost insoluble in water, solubility in water at 20 ¡ã C 0.4%.
Low volatility, low temperature and softness, water resistance, oil resistance, and electrical oxygen performance are particularly prominent. It can be widely used as a plasticizer for soft PVC and cable materials.
&©|160;Application 1. DOTP is a main plasticizer with excellent performance. Its electrical and thermal properties are excellent. Its volume resistivity is 10~20 times that of DOP. It has good growth rate and low volatility especially on cable materials. It is widely used in various products requiring heat resistance and high insulation. It is an ideal plasticizer for producing temperature-resistant 70 ¡ã C cable materials and other volatile PVC products.
2. At the same time, it has good cold resistance, heat resistance, extraction resistance, volatility resistance and high rate of growth. It exhibits excellent durability, soap-resistant water and low-temperature softness in the product. It is suitable as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride resin, such as a polyvinyl chloride cable material requiring high insulation.
3. This product can be blended with DOP in any ratio.
4. This product can reduce viscosity and increase shelf life when used for plastisol.
